My name is Julija. I have specialised in electrolysis since 2011 — a method of permanent hair removal suitable for all hair colours, including blonde and grey hair. I have a medical background.

My approach to electrolysis
- Experience since 2011. Electrolysis is my main area of expertise. I take into account the treatment area, hair structure and individual skin responses.
- Medical education. My knowledge of skin anatomy and physiology helps me assess skin condition and how the skin responds to treatment. I pay particular attention to safety and preventing complications.
- Hygiene and safety. I use a new, sterile, single-use electrode for every client. I follow infection prevention, aseptic and antiseptic procedures throughout each treatment.
- Professional equipment. I use the Apilus xCell Pro, operating at a frequency of 27.12 MHz. I choose the treatment mode based on the area, hair characteristics and skin sensitivity.
What is electrolysis?
Electrolysis is a method of permanent hair removal in which each hair follicle is treated individually.
A fine, sterile electrode is inserted into the natural opening and channel of the hair follicle, following the direction of hair growth. Controlled energy is delivered to target the structures responsible for hair growth.
Because electrolysis does not depend on hair pigment, it is also suitable for blonde and grey hair, for which laser hair removal may be ineffective.
Hair grows in different stages, so a course of treatments is needed to address the hairs in a particular area. The duration of the course varies depending on the treatment area, hair density and individual hair characteristics.
After your first treatment, I will explain how the rest of your course may progress and what results you can realistically expect.
